With a unique mix of nature’s beauty, history and of man-made structures, Ilocos Norte is every traveller’s dream destination. The province takes pride in having a culture of its own and being there for a quick getaway will make you want to bring their culture back to the city.
The Kapurpurawan Rock Formations and the Paoay Sand Dunes are two of nature’s gifts to the province. The people of the province have complimented these two landmarks by building the Bangui Windmill Farm. Watching the sun rise from these giant windmills gives you a reason to start your day early when in Ilocos Norte.
The most visited place in Ilocos Norte is Pagudpod because of its powder white sand beach. It is often referred to as the Boracay of the North but the best thing about the beach is that it is not too commercialized and not to populated so you can relax and enjoy basking under the sun in peace and quiet.
